QUICK START — YOUR FIRST CONVERSATION
- Choose either brick. Both have the same AI capabilities.
- Say “Brick, Activate AI Assistant”.
- Ask a question or give your assistant a task.
- When you stop using it, let it sleep. It remains activated until you explicitly deactivate it.
The assistant is deactivated by default. If you have never activated yours, the spoken activation phrase is the place to begin.
Using your bricks
My assistant is quiet. Is it sleeping?
An activated assistant sleeps when not being used. That is normal. Begin a deliberate interaction when you want its help. If you previously deactivated it, use “Brick, Activate AI Assistant” again.
It does not spontaneously start talking at night or listen to ordinary private conversations.
How do I use the controls?
Speak your request, use the screen or keyboard when they appear on the brick's surface, interact through gestures, or use thought control. Ask your activated assistant for guidance with a control method you have not tried before.
I cannot see a screen or any buttons.
A brick that is not displaying anything looks exactly like an ordinary construction brick. The screen appears directly on its surface when it is needed; there is no permanently visible technological equipment to find.
How do I deactivate the assistant?
Explicitly ask your assistant to deactivate. Ask it for guidance first if needed. Leaving it alone lets it sleep, which is different from deactivation.
Can both bricks work independently?
Yes. Both have the same capabilities. Activate either or both, then give each a task. For example, one can help complete your taxes while the other plays a game with you.
SUPPORT FOR ORIGINAL BRICKS
Bricks made in 1987–1992 automatically gained AI compatibility through the filling's remarkable update capabilities. You do not need a new pair just because yours predates the 1993 AI launch.
Use the same activation phrase. The filling's composition, manufacturing method and operating principles remain proprietary; there is no separate technical formula required for getting started.
